      How long does one stick burn?

      Between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on airflow in the room. A box holds 100 sticks, so a box lasts most households around a month at one stick a day.

      Is it smoky?

      Far less than a conventional stick. Ours are charcoal-free, which is what produces most of the visible smoke and the grey film on walls. You get the fragrance without the haze: light one in a closed room and it won't turn the air grey.

      How many sticks come in a box?

      100 sticks per box, hand-rolled on bamboo. Each box is sealed to hold the fragrance, so an unopened box keeps its strength for up to two years.

      How do I light and place one safely?

      Light the tip, let it flame for a couple of seconds, then blow it out. You want a glowing ember, not a flame. Set it in a holder that catches the ash, on a heat-safe surface, away from curtains. Never leave a burning stick unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

      Which scent should I start with?

      Santal Aura is the safest first box: warm sandalwood, the one most people already know. Jasmine Eclat and Veloura Rose are the florals; Lotus Bloom is the softest of the five; Lavender Blanc is the one to burn in the evening.

      Can I mix scents in a combo?

      Yes. Pick a 2 or 3 box combo on any product page and choose a different scent for each box. A mixed set costs exactly the same as a matching one, and it is the easiest way to find your favourite.
