      How to BurnYour Candle.

      Let the first burn go long. Two to three hours, until the melted wax reaches the edge. A candle cut short on its first light will tunnel for good.

      Trim the wick every time. Back to about 5 mm. A long wick smokes and eats through the wax.

      Keep each burn under four hours. Past that the glass grows hot and the fragrance flattens. Let it cool, trim, light again.

      Mind where it sits. A stable heat resistant surface, out of draughts, never left burning unattended.

      Made by hand

      Sculpted,Scented to Match.

      Every candle is built twice. The wax is poured, piped and shaped by hand, and the fragrance is composed in house to smell like the thing it has been made to look like.

      So a raspberry cream reads as raspberry cream from across the room, lit or unlit. No two are quite alike, and once the wax is gone the glass is a tumbler worth keeping.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      How long will my candle burn?

      A 200 g jar gives you roughly 40 hours, burned in sessions of up to four hours at a time. Trimming the wick before every light does more for that number than anything else you can do.

      Why does the first burn matter so much?

      Wax has a memory. If the first burn is stopped before the melted pool reaches the edge of the glass, the candle will keep burning down that same narrow channel and leave a ring of wax behind. Two to three hours on the first light is all it takes.

      My candle is smoking. What should I do?

      Put it out, let the wax set, and trim the wick to about 5 mm before relighting. Smoke almost always means the wick has grown too long, or the candle is sitting in a draught that keeps pulling the flame sideways.

      What are the wax and the wick made of?

      A natural wax blend with a cotton wick, poured in small batches in India. The fragrance is composed in house by our own perfumery team and is IFRA Conscious, so it is safe to burn indoors.

      Is it safe around children and pets?

      Treat it as you would any open flame. Burn it on a stable heat resistant surface, keep it out of reach, and never leave it burning in an empty room. Stop burning once about 10 mm of wax is left in the base.

      Can I buy more than one scent together?

      Yes. Every candle is sold on its own or as a two or three candle combo, priced below buying the same number singly, and a combo is mixed from across the range so you get different scents in the box.
